pero' un disco va valutato nel suo insieme, non solamente per una parte dei musicisti

Sì sì ma ti capisco, è evidente che chi (come te, Gianluca, mille altri immagino) si attendesse all'epoca un disco death, per quanto tecnico, si sia trovato totalmente spiazzato e ne abbia ricavato una notevole delusione.

il bello e' che tutti, comprese -e soprattutto- le riviste metal, al tempo fecero 2+2: arrivano dalla Florida, e' prodotto da Burns, esce per Roadrunner = death metal

Gillan-Double Trouble
Sono d'accordo con Blade quando dice che è un grande disco, ma allargherei il discorso un pò a tutta la produzione Gillan fino a Magic. In 4 anni è riuscito a tirar fuori un patrimonio qualitativo con pochi eguali, ogni disco con le sue pecurialità è una gemma ed è veramente complicato trovare difetti, credo anche che questi lavori abbiano silenziosamente influenzato in modo notevole tutta la scena hard rock e heavy metal degli anni '80/'90.
