Through 1997 and 1998, Cea Serin released and pushed their demo named only ?Demo ?97.? The music on Demo ?97 began inside a single mind and soon reached out all over the globe, reaching every continent and crossing every ocean. What began as sounds, words, and emotions swirling within a restricted realm ended up as a quality demonstration of one bands effect on people.

At first Jay Lamm thought that the music of Cea Serin would not be understood or even liked by people seeing how the purpose of it was to be true to the heart and soul of art, emotion, and musical ideas without the classification and restraint of genres. This purpose would often mean a literal interpretation of anger and frustration as screams instead of the sung note, which is something undesirable for some fans of music. There are moments of calm and peace, instances of celestial consciousness, bursts of manic guitar discharge, layers of atmospheric keyboard tones, and there are many faces of the human psyche coming through one throat.

Cea Serin has been extremely well received by supporters of metal music all over the world. The main comment being that it was a breath of fresh air in a quickly growing environment of stale and repetitive metal bands. The listener wants more than high notes and technique. They want depth and substance, and they want an album that they can listen to over and over again as they build memories for their life.

Cea Serin is more than a band - the literal meaning of the words define ?what you are all about.? The fiber that holds you together, the beliefs that hold you to life, the ideals you have towards society, the very makeup of what you are and what you have become is your ?Cea Serin.? And the supporters of metal have seen and heard this. This music is not only what makes up Jay Lamm and Keith Warman, it is the nature of their touring band and the others that listen to their music.

Currently, upon the completion of Exhibition 1999, Cea Serin will be working on a CD. This CD will be in part a demo, and in part a product of product of mind. What Cea Serin needs right now is support from a record company and distribution to get the excitement out to the people so they can hear it and also support it. There has been no question whether people from all around Earth will find something in Cea Serin to partake in, and there has been no indication that Cea Serin is just another band in the crowd.
