E' morto Syd Barrett
co-fondatore dei Pink Floyd


LONDRA - E' morto Syd Barrett, co-fondatore dei Pink Floyd e figura di spicco del progressive rock inglese a cavallo fra la fine degli anni '60 e i primi anni '70: lo ha reso noto un portavoce della vecchia band dell'artista. Barrett aveva 60 anni.

Il cantante e chitarrista, che aveva lasciato il gruppo nel 1968, negli ultimi 30 ha vissuto lontano dalle scene. Si sa che soffriva di diabete, ma non sono state rese note le cause della sua morte.


Un saluto ad uno dei piu' grandi geni della musica, purtroppo sopraffatto dalla dipendenza con la droga...

Un saluto e un pensiero per Syd, grandissimo innovatore, personalità artisticamente strabordante ma purtroppo altrettanto fragile dal punto di vista umano e personale.
Comunque un grande della musica rock.
